Bliss

Finally being able to feature someone who creates jewelry, for the first time ever, feels like such a dream come true…

This is kinda the perfect way to introduce our newest Naguzine feature, all the way from Australia… BLISS! Who just ironically happens to own a brand called Dreamgazee, created to sell not only jewelry but art as well. Now keep in mind, that not only are they running a small business, but they also still attend school, where they study a range of subjects such as visual arts, ceramics, entertainment, and business. They’ve also taken a Floristry course and use that experience to guide them in their job at the local florist near them. One of my favorite things about Dreamgazee (besides the jewelry looking absolutely fabulous), is that it’s an upcycle brand, which means that most of the items, if not all, are repurposed and recycled (which I applaud them for because it is such a great way to help the environment).

Bliss got into selling jewelry after they made some jewelry pieces for friends and family, who suggested they should make a business out of it, and helped them start to realize their full potential. From there, Bliss started an Instagram and a Depop page to start officially selling jewelry. They began to get recognized by other people from different places worldwide, and their business took off from there.

They were fated to be a creator from a young age, as they always had an undeniable passion for it even before they were mature enough to understand their infatuation.  “I have so many photos of me at preschool/ child care being completely absorbed into arts and crafts… I’d sit for hours and always ask for new things to make; it’s clear I’ve always been an art fanatic… I still come home from school with a stack of books about art as well as folders stuffed full of pieces I’ve created. I now run an art club at my school so I think I’m just destined to be in the world of art…”

Even though they achieved a lot in such a short amount of time, this progress did not come without struggle. “I’m trying my best and I’m not the person I used to be. I’ve been through a whole damn lot in my life, I’ve grown and changed in unimaginable ways over the past two years. Since primary school I never got along with anyone else, haven’t been able to maintain friends or relationships, was never close to anyone…I’ve lost so many people in my life due to misunderstandings. I want people to know that every single day I am learning, growing, and changing…”

Regardless of their struggles, they’ve kept persevering, and seeing how much Bliss’s dreams manifested into reality, is really inspiring. It’s so amazing to see someone successfully doing what they love and it was an honor that I got to write about your story Bliss. Thank you for giving us the opportunity.
